हम अक्सर यह सोचकर अपमान सहते रहते हैं कि हम रिश्ते को बचा रहे हैं। लेकिन ईमानदारी से कहूँ तो, हम केवल अपने आत्म-मूल्य को नुकसान पहुँचा रहे होते हैं।
एक ऐसा समय आता है जब आप उन रिश्तों में खुद को इतना झोंक देते हैं कि आप पूरी तरह खोखले हो जाते हैं और तब तक, रिश्ता शायद रेत की तरह हाथों से फिसल चुका होता है।
ऐसे रिश्तों से बिना किसी भावनात्मक बोझ के खुद को आज़ाद करना एक बहुत ही समझदारी भरा कदम है। यह हार मानने का संकेत नहीं है; यह आपकी आत्म-देखभाल और आत्म-प्रेम का प्रमाण है। जब आप उन रिश्तों को छोड़ने का फैसला करते हैं जो आपको महत्व नहीं देते, तो आप वास्तव में अपने लिए एक स्वस्थ और खुशहाल भविष्य का दरवाज़ा खोल रहे होते हैं।
हमेशा याद रखें, आपका आत्म-सम्मान अनमोल है। इसे कभी भी किसी भी रिश्ते में मोलभाव का ज़रिया न बनने दें। असली बुद्धिमत्ता इसी को पहचानने और सही समय पर सही कदम उठाने में है।
